Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of shows. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is a variety of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent presence on social media.
